In July 2018 a container of text, reference and reading books was sent to the Rumphi area in northern Malawi.

The contents were destined for schools identified by our main partner Life Concern with whom we began working in 2015 as well as UK based NGO, Temwa, with whom we first partnered in 2016.

In August 2017 a container of books was sent to our partners The Book Bus and a second NGO, H.E.L.P Malawi. Both are situated in the Mangochi area of Malawi near Lake Malawi.

The contents were destined for a number of schools and community libraries identified by them as needing our resources.

Children at 22 primary and secondary schools in Lesotho were delighted to have a New Year boost to their reading resources early in 2019. Between them educating more than 13,000 children, the schools are largely based in and around the capital, Maseru, reinforcing our long-standing commitment to this area.  Most were selected by our project and reading club officer, Moso Ranoosi, but we also continue to support three schools in the remote mountain district of Thaba Tseka, where our long-term partner, Dolen Cymru Wales Lesotho Link, is running ongoing literacy programmes.
