On Saturday March 16th, Rachel Seymour our wonderful Marathon runner, held a bingo afternoon at the Scout Hut in Chalfont St Peter. It was a family affair – her Mum, Dad, brother, sister, husband and children turned up to make sure it was a successful event. And what a result! Rachel raised £485.38, and she has now reached her target of £2,000.
Well done Rachel, your efforts in raising this money have been nothing but inspiring. And thank you to all the people who turned up to try their luck, and those of you who provided prizes, baked cakes and made sure the event was such a success.
Rachel can now concentrate on her running, and pack in the training. It has been a life-long dream of hers to run the Marathon and we look forward to her updates, and to the event on Sunday April 28th. Rachel you’re a star, and we are so very proud of everything you are doing for School Aid.
