I spent two days volunteering for School Aid. It was a massively eye opening experience for me and was really enlightening to do something good for other people. I felt a huge sense of achievement at the end and I found it really interesting to see how all of the donations are sorted and boxed up before they are sent to African schools.

The atmosphere was really positive and it was special to be surrounded by people who are genuine ‘do-gooders’ and who frequently give up their time for the benefit of others. I had a wonderful experience volunteering for School Aid and it is really rewarding to know that you are making a difference to someone’s life somewhere else in the world.
