Arun Singh's book launch on leadership raises funds for School Aid

Co-authors Arun Singh and Mike Mister raise funds for School Aid at their book launch

Arun Singh OBE and Mike Mister are co-authors of How to Lead Smart People – Leadership for Professionals’, published 30 May 2019. This is one of the few books on leadership specifically for professionals in law, accountancy, academia, engineering, education, healthcare and NGOs.

The book had its first launch at the Moller Institute, Churchill College, University of Cambridge on 23 May with another launch planned for 2nd July at the offices of EY Global. Both Arun and Mike wished to use these events to raise money from the early sales and to contribute all takings to an educational charity. Having worked globally, they conducted some research and unanimously agreed that School Aid reflected their own passion for books and the power of education in enabling children to pursue solid futures for themselves and their community. The well-attended event successfully raised £150 for School Aid.

Arun Singh OBE is a leading international business lawyer, visiting professor at UK universities and business schools and a senior government advisor with over 25 years’ experience. He was appointed an OBE for services to international trade and investment in January 1999.

Mike Mister was formerly the Global Director for Executive Development at EY Global and is now based at the Møller Institute at Churchill College, University of Cambridge. He works in supporting leadership and change management capability in large organisations.
