French books arrive in Waounde, eastern Senegal

French books sent to Waounde in eastern Senegal in September 2016 have arrived.

These books were shipped by a small charity based in Munich, set up by Waounde villagers working in Munich, to support and help develop their home town. When the books arrived, the library was still in development, but is now nearing completion and plans to be fully open in September when the new school year starts.

The photo above shows the teachers and one of the people who helps manage the project, standing outside the library.
