School Aid welcomed another two families to the Family Fun Day on 14th August.

The children who attended the day were Jessica and Ella Bowers, Harry Watts and Xavier Tomi-Odufuwa. As before, the day started with a talk about what School Aid does and how we help children and communities in Africa. The children then selected books to stamp and pack into boxes, which they decorated, and enclosed some personal messages to the children who will receive these lovely books. They then took part in a School Aid quiz and left with certificates thanking them for helping School Aid. 

One of the children, Harry Watts, had attended the Family Fun Day last year and, when he returned to school in the September last year, organised a book collection at his school. He hopes to do the same this year and was very pleased to bring his friend, Xavier, along with him this year.
