Games in a library in South Africa

Research has often suggested that the best way for children to learn is when they’re not aware that it’s happening. Education is not just about books therefore, it’s also about having fun.

Our literacy clubs and library refurbishments have always seen greater successes where we’ve introduced a games table or a recreational corner. They stimulate the interest and participation of children which in turn supports their learning. Educational games suitable for pre-school, primary and secondary level children are always in demand and that can cover: problem solving toys; puzzles; number and letter games; scrabble and chess; and all types of quiz games.
