How you can volunteer

Please ring Martha Ware (01753 883853) at School-Aid to find out more about us. She can arrange for you to visit our warehouse and meet other volunteers to find out about different roles.

We have a range of roles located in Buckinghamshire but we are also interested in developing new sites for collection and new contacts with schools in the UK. Some computer-based administrative work is done from volunteers’ homes.

Induction and training
Depending on the activity you will be trained as a volunteer either by joining a small group or by one of our experienced volunteers.

Keeping in touch
We keep in touch by e-mail and also by phone. We have a newsletter 5 or 6 times a year and plan to have some team events in 2005.
We are preparing handbook for volunteers to be ready in spring 2005. And for example – we will need someone to update it regularly!
