Bridge Drive 2011

School Aid’s first Bridge Drive held at Woodrow High House on 19th October was a great success, raising £1,414.50.

There were 25 tables, and players were pleased to discover the gift of a charming mini-beaded giraffe, sent over by School Aid South Africa, awaiting each of them.

Everyone enjoyed a delicious tea of homemade cakes, which were all donated. An excellent raffle helped to boost the funds, and support from the staff at Woodrow High House was much appreciated.

Maureen MacCaskill had long thought that a Bridge Drive would be a popular event for School Aid, and with her willing helpers, she was proved to be absolutely correct.

We look forward to another School Aid Bridge Drive next year.
