Illustrated
talks
Joy Baker, Sandra Maizels
and other School-Aid volunteers are delighted to talk about School-Aid
to schools and other groups.
Joy and several other volunteers have visited African schools
and bring slides and letters from the schools. This brings alive
the hunger to learn and the enthusiasm of the pupils in those
schools.
Recent talks
Joy visited Ashburnham Junior School where pupils were delighted
to hear about the lives of junior school children in a school
in south Africa. Sandra spoke to pupils at Steeple Claydon School
who have now decided to set up a link with a school in Capetown.
Chris Thomas visited Herne Hill School and Dulwich Hamlet School
in south London and will be helping them to set up a link in South
Africa.
Gift
Upton House School, Windsor kindly gave us a software projector
for us to use on school visits.
Thank you!
The friends of School-Aid are so grateful to the many British
pupils, their families and schools who have given huge quantities
of thoughtful donations. These educational gifts are at the very
centre of School-Aid’s work.
